After leaving the strange pseudo suburbia, I found a large sign that thankfully had Flower Town written on it, so I set off in the indicated direction hoping that it wasn’t a cruel joke.
Thankfully footpaths were abundant, but in areas they were overgrown by plants. It was in these areas that I has some strange encounters with the local creatures.
The first indication I had that I wasn’t alone was when a big freaking green insect thing jumped at me. I nimbly dodged it’s attack, as it jumped onto a nearby plant and waited for me to turn my back so it could attack again. I refused to turn my back, instead moving in to take this single photograph. It was cleverly camouflaged.
Not long after leaving the green menace behind, a giant dragonfly swooped down out of the sky like it was intending to divebomb me. Again my superior agility skill thwarted it’s plan, and eventually it landed on the ground. This blurry shot is the only proof I have.
Further along I found what appeared to be a self storage facility. As I walked past it I saw the biggest spider web I have ever seen on the back of one of the containers, and sitting in the middle of the web was this freaking HUGE spider. The photo is terrible and doesnt do it justice, but I wasn’t getting any closer than I had to. That thing looked like it could jump over to me in a single bound and devour me whole.
That spider will come back to avenge the other spiders you have wronged.
